Our mission is to get more people into Turntablism and, by increasing the art form’s profile, support our friendly community to become successful DJs, whatever their skill level and personal ambitions.
We know it can be intimidating stepping up to the deck table, especially if you are a beginner. However, beginners are critical to keeping the turntablism art form alive and moving forward.
With this in mind, Mr. Big Mouth (Dan) from the Temple of Turntablism online DJ school runs a beginner hour from 6-7pm, specifically designed to equip you with some techniques to get you started and give you an opportunity to get comfortable on the deck table before the more experienced scratchers arrive.
Mr. Big Mouth focuses on different techniques each week so your skills can build over time. The rest of the regulars are super supportive too so don't worry, there will be no judgement, only support and encouragement.
